CELEBS HELP FRANKLIN EYE CENTER GIVE MIDDLE TENNESSEANS
“STARS IN YOUR EYES”

(Nashville, TN)--Some of country music’s biggest stars such as Steve Azar, Pam Tillis, Stella Parton, Naomi Judd, BR-549 and Hal Ketchum along with media personalities including Dave Ramsey, Nashville’s very own Ms. Cheap, Brad @ You’s Brad Schmitt, author/filmmaker Clay Stafford and numerous on-air personalities from WKRN-TV, WSMV-TV and WTVF-TV are just some of the growing list of celebrities donating items to the upcoming “Stars In Your Eyes” fundraiser sponsored by Franklin Eye Center (3326 Aspen Grove Drive, Suite 200, Franklin) to enhance the Center’s annual “What’s Up With Kids?” and “What’s Up With Seniors” contests.

These celebrities are donating a set of eyeglasses or sunglasses, many autographed, to be auctioned off via silent auction with all monies raised going to these two programs. Winners of the silent auction will be announced at a special open house at Franklin Eye Center, Friday, July 9, 2004 beginning at 1:00 p.m.

“What’s Up With Kids?” and “What’s Up With Seniors?” was begun in 2001 by Thomas Wohl MD, owner of Franklin Eye Center and currently awards various prizes such as state-of-the-art computer systems and other monetary awards.

“I am proud to say that both ‘What’s Up With Kids?’ and its sister contest ‘What’s Up With Seniors?’ are in their third year. We here at Franklin Eye Center are looking forward to enhancing both of these contests and being able to award even more prizes to the children and seniors of Middle Tennessee. I am truly grateful to everyone who is joining us in this effort to encourage and nurture creativity in our children and seniors.”

The celebrity eyewear will be on constant display beginning June 7, and bids can be made by visiting Franklin Eye Center during the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The auction will close on July 9 at 6 p.m. In addition to the eyewear, participants can also register to win various other prizes such as free laser correction surgery, free designer frames, free autographed CDs from country legend Eddy Raven and a free facial given by Elysium Day Spa.
